The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR has charged Corps Members deployed to the State to leverage on the several opportunities provided by the State’s job portal by logging on www.jobs.ogun state.com.ng to register and submit their CV, as the job portal does not only provide employment but different trainings and empowerment programmes .

Governor Abiodun who was represented by his Special Adviser on Youth Empowerment and Job Creation, Hon Olalekan Olude said this during the Closing Ceremony of the 2019 Batch C Stream one Orientation Course at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu.

The Governor further enjoined the Corps Members to maximize the opportunities provided by the Service year rather than playing around.

Governor Abiodun who assured them of his administration’s commitment to providing an enabling environment, urged them to strive to break new grounds and surpass the contributions of their predecessors.

” I call upon you to contribute your quota towards the fulfilment of *Building our Future Together* Agenda in the State. I therefore charge you to move out to your various places of primary assignment and make an impact” he said.

He also enjoined Corps Employers to engage the Corps Members in useful activities in line with the developmental programmes of the State.

Earlier , the State Coordinator , Dr (Mrs) Belinda Ameze Faniyi revealed that a total of 1,836 Corps Members have been posted to the nooks and crannies of the State to bring positive changes to their host communities , especially in the area of health , education, infrastructural development and more importantly , train the students in the secondary schools on the need to know about Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship development early in life.
