We Will Change The Economic Narrative of Osun State – Commissioner

Osun State government has reiterated its determination to change the economic narrative of the State through the unlocking of industrialization potentials of the State.

This was disclosed in a keynote address delivered by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev Bunmi Jenyo during Osun Special Day at the 2023 Lagos International Trade Fair held at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos State.

While speaking, Rev Jenyo disclosed that the State is prepared to welcome new investors, business men and women for collaboration in mutual beneficial partnership which will bring a boost to their trade as well as impact the state positively.

According to him” Lagos International Trade Fair has been the largest International Trade Fair in the continent of Africa and has grown in popularity and attendance over the years.”

“This does not just happen but for the advantage of a properly coordinated, committed and well focused team of the Lagos State Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) who are aware of the importance of maintaining the high standard expected of an international Trade Fair and are consistently striving to live up to the expectation.”

The Commissioner also used the opportunity to invite representatives of the Chamber, business men and women, Investors, Industrialists and traders in diverse trade interests to the Osun 2023 Trade Fair which is slated to hold between Thursday, 16yh and Tuesday 28th November, 2023.

He explained that Osun 2023 Trade fair will expose the vast investment and business opportunities in the State and as well promote Osun exportable commodities for a robust economic growth and development.

The President , Lagos State Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Dr Michael Olawale- Cole commended the Governor of Osun State, Gov Ademola Adeleke for the giant stride towards promoting the economic and commercial activities of the State since the inception of his administration.

Dr Olawale-Cole also charged the chamber, investors and business men and women present at the Osun day to support the 2023 Osun Fair in whatever capacity to trade and promote the industrial drive of the State.

At the Osun Special Day were the Permanent Secretary of Osun State Ministry of Commerce, Mrs Kehinde Odediran, top management team of the ministry, business investors, Industrialists and exhibitors.
