Generator Fumes Claim 7 Lives in Bayelsa Music Studio Tragedy

A tragic incident occurred in a music studio in Amarata, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, on Tuesday, claiming the lives of seven people. The victims, including students of the Niger Delta University, were working in the studio late into the night due to poor power supply.

According to reports, the victims inhaled generator fumes, which led to their death. Six bodies were found in the studio, while one person who was unconscious was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to death.

Security operatives have cordoned off the area, and the corpses have been deposited at the morgue. This incident highlights the importance of proper ventilation and generator safety. The community is in mourning, and the families of the victims are receiving condolences.

The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of poor ventilation and generator safety. It is crucial to take necessary precautions to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future. The music studio was reportedly owned by one of the victims, Akpos Barakubo, who was also a student of the Niger Delta University.
