As OGBC father Christmas funfair enters day three, the pupils of Daniel Akintonde Model School for children with special needs this Tuesday played host to Santa Claus courtesy the General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achidume.
The children in their hundreds sang and danced with excitement to welcome OGBC SANTA CLAUS to their school premises to the admiration of their teachers and the OGBC Father Xmas Funfair team led by the Chairman Mrs Doyin Lasisi- Oloruntola.
While lauding the OGBC Management and Apostle Achudume for deeming it fit to extend love and valuable gifts to the children of the school this yuletide, the headteacher Mrs Olubukola Idowu expressed delight about the visit describing it as the first this season.
Speaking in like manner, the Chairman OGBC father Xmas funfair committee posited that the visit to the children with special needs was a worthy exercise in the sight of God pointing out that there is ability in every disability.
Lasisi-Oloruntola also urged philanthropists, religious leaders and corporate bodies to extend hand of fellowship to the “have-nots”this yuletide and beyond pointing out that every human being is wonderfully and specially made by God for a purpose.
