Former President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerians to support his successor, President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement released on Tuesday by his former Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, Buhari extended his best wishes to Tinubu on completing his first year in office.
Buhari urged all citizens to continue fostering national unity and goodwill.
“The former President also appealed for blessings and support for the Tinubu administration to help it succeed in building the Nigeria of our dreams,” the statement read.
Buhari wished Tinubu a successful tenure.
