Ogun government condemns killing of TASUED student, orders investigation

The Ogun State Government has told students at Tai Solarin University of Education in Ijagun and the leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Ogun State Chapter, that those responsible for the death of a 300-level student, Oladipupo Adebayo will not go unpunished.

In a statement issued on Sunday and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Mr. Waheed Adesina, the government condemned the heinous act while revealing that the police have been directed to invite all parties involved, including the Baale of Imaweje village where the incident occurred, to investigate the immediate and remote causes of the student’s death.
