Ogun Deputy Gov Marks 57th Birthday, Donates Gifts To Orphanage

The Ogun State Deputy Governor Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, has celebrated her 57th birthday with the children and staff of Stella Obasanjo Children’s home.

The Deputy Governor while speaking at Stella Obasanjo home expressed her heart felt gratitude to Almighty Allah to be alive, hale and hearty to celebrate another birthday, while appreciating the children of Stella Obasanjo Children’s home, state Executive members, family members especially her mum, Staff of the office and all well wishers for celebrating her day.

The Deputy who used the occasion to donate items such as deep freezer, washing machine amongst others to the home said, “Am happy to be here to celebrate my brithday and i want to thank you all for celebrating me. I pray that next year we will all be alive to witness another celebration” she said

She appreciated the management qnd care givers of the Home led by the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Funmi Efuape for coming through at all times, praying that Almighty Allah reward them abundantly for their diligence.

In her remarks, the mother of the celebrant, Alhaja Adebisi Salako, expressed her delight and thanked Almighty God for the gift of life, just as she prayed that God grant her daughter more grace and strength to live and fulfil God’s purpose for her life.

Earlier In her welcome address, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Funmi Efuape, thanked God in the life of the Deputy Governor, appreciating her for celebrating her birthday with the less privileged, while also praying to God for long life, prosperity and more fruitful years
