Violent Clash Erupts in Lagos Market, Multiple Injuries Reported

A fierce fight broke out among hoodlums in the Ile-Epo area of Lagos State, leaving several people injured and a market in ruins.

The violence began on Wednesday night and continued into Thursday morning, with shops set ablaze and goods destroyed.

Eyewitnesses reported that the police attempted to intervene early on, but were met with resistance from the hoodlums.

A fire service truck that arrived on the scene was also forced to retreat after being pelted with stones.

The full extent of the damage and injuries is still being assessed, but it is clear that the situation is dire.
