Abba Kyari to remain in custody as case is adjourned till March 28

Embattled Police Chief, Abba Kyari will remain in the custody of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA until March 28th.

Kyari who is facing charges of drug trafficking, Money-Laundering, Conspiracy among others today prayed the court to grant him bail on liberal conditions.

This was however opposed by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.

Meanwhile, Ramatu Kyari, wife of the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, today fainted and slumped at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Ramatu slumped on the ground shortly after trial Justice Emeka Nwite deferred the ruling on applications that DCP Kyari and six other persons facing drug trafficking charge with him, filed to be released on bail pending the determination of the case against them.

Ramatu, who wore a black Hijab, fell on the floor while armed operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) were leading Kyari and the others away from the court premises.
