12 Persons Including A Child Dies In Multiple Accident In Benue

Twelve Persons including a child have lost their lives in ghastly motor accident along Katsina – Ala – Zaki – Biam express road near Ngido village in Benue State
The accident was said to have occurred at about 12:32pm yesterday involving two vehicle on a head -on – collision.

The Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps, Steve Ayodele, who described the multiple accident as very fatal confirmed 8 people killed in the accident while those injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.

According to the sector commander, ten (10) persons were involved – four female adults, one male adult and one female child, stating that Out of the 10, eight people died. Four female adults and three male adults and one female child.

While a eyewitness said it was a head-on – collision, he observed that when one of the vehicle was trying to avoid a pothole and ram into an oncoming vehicle, which he said could be over speeding
