The wife of former President of Nigeria, Chief (Mrs) Bola OBASANJO will on Friday 19th July, 2019 lead other dignitaries to the 3rd Anniversary Lecture of Penpushing MEDIA IN an event scheduled to hold in ABEOKUTA the Ogun State Capital.

The Chairman Planning Committee for the anniversary, Sina Adefolahan while speaking with journalists, indicates that, Bola Obasanjo is the Chairman of the occasion, while the guest lecturer for the event is former Vice Chancellor, Tai Solarin University of Education, Prof Yemisi Obilade, who is going to speak on the theme, ’The Nigerian State, Political Evolution and Multiparty Democracy: Education to the Rescue’

The Chairman further said that the anniversary which is the third in the series will commence by 9.30am at the prestigious Marque Events Centre of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, adding that, a number of dignitaries within and outside the country will be in attendance.

Adefolahan stressed that the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR is the Chief Host, while Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Former  Governor of Ogun State, Akinrogun Olusegun Osoba are fathers of the day while the amazon and Iyalode of Yorubaland, Chief (Mrs) Alaba Oluwaseun Lawson will serve as the mother of the day.

The Committee boss opined that the former Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos, Professor Oye Ibidapo-Obe, who was the guest lecturer at the maiden edition, and  Country Director, United Nations Information Centre(UNIC), Ronald Kayanja, who was the Guest Speaker at the second edition have also signified interest to attend the ceremony.

Our correspondent urther gathered that, the Akinale of Akinale of Owu Kingdom, Oba Olufemi Ogunleye, who was the Royal Father of the maiden edition and Olota of Ota/Aworiland, Oba Adeyemi Obalanlege, who was the Royal father for the second edition have also confirmed their attendance.

The Chairman added that, former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, former member House of Representatives, Chief Bode Mustapha, former Minister, Sarafa Ishola, former Military Administrators, Daniel Akintonde, Kayode Olofinmoyin, Aare Ona Kakanfo Chief Gani Adams, former Deputy Governor Salimot Badru, Prince Gboyega Isiaka ,former Spokesman of Senate President, Alhaji Yusuph Olaniyonu among others  have also declared their interest to be part of the anniversary lecture

Adefolahan also said  that the National President of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Chris Isiquzo and National Secretary, Shuaib Usman Lman will be in attendance adding that, panel of discussants at the ceremony include;  Owolabi Oladejo (Moderator), Apostle Lawrence Achudume and Gbenga Gbesan as panelists.

The Chairman said members of the Communiqué Drafting Committee include;, Abdussobur Salaam, Olawale Jokotoye, Ayo Arowojolu and Adeshina Adekanmbi while the compere for the event are; Victor Mark of Okin F.M, Offa, Kwara State, Samson Akindele of Fresh FM, and Seun Davies of Smash FM.

The Planning Committee Chairman also said a number of schools which include higher institutions, corporate bodies, agencies; trade unions and professional bodies have also been invited.
