On Wednesday, 26, May ,2021 at about 23:16 hrs one of the two culprits Azeez Akintunde residing at 16, Shoyoye Street ,Meiran ,Ijaye,Lagos State was apprehended at Ajegunle bridge axis of Atan Ado Odo route located at Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area with a double cut to size locally made pistol, two (2)live cartridges while other, Saheed Alubarika reported escaped with Red Honda motorbike.
The suspects confessed to the crime and added that anybody that prove stubborn when stopped at the any point of the operation are severely dealt with.
The suspected armed robber and the exhibit recovered from him has been transfered to Atan Divisional Police Headquarter for further investigation and likely prosecution.
