So-Safe Corps Apprehends 3 Suspects for Vandalising Transformer, Recovers Exhibits

Idiroko, Ogun State – The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) has arrested three men for vandalising and stealing transformer cables in Idiroko, Ipokia Local Government Area.

According to a press statement issued by the Office of the State Commander, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo, the patrol team led by Chief Superintendent of Corps Abdulkareem Abdulrazaq arrested the suspects on May 26, 2024, at about 0530hrs.

The suspects, Eze Sunday, an ex-convict, Eze John Charles, and Jamilu Danjuma, confessed to the crime and mentioned the third suspect as the receiver of the stolen items.

The suspects and the recovered exhibits, including burnt and separated copper wires, have been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Idiroko Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
