The Oyo State House of Assembly has read for the second time, the bill to establish Oyo State Institute of Information Communication Technology and Entrepreneurship Studies.
The bill which was read during the State lawmakers Thursday plenary is to develop and offer specialized academic and professional programmes in information technology, communication technology, computer science, satellite systems, entrepreneurship development and training.
According to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin the institute will identify ICT, entrepreneurship challenges of the state and proffer appropriate solutions through its training programmes.
The bill was therefore handed over to appropriate house committees for scrutiny, to ensure every necessary areas are perfected to the efficiency of the proposed institute.
