The Ogun State Community Social Orientation and Safety Corps Agency (So-Safe Corps) under the leadership of Commander Soji Ganzallo have presented award of excellence to twenty of it’s officers.
Tropic Reporters gathers that the event took place at the Command Headquarter in Abeokuta the Ogun State capital with highly placed security officers and Government functionaries in attendance.
While delivering his remarks, the Ogun State So-Safe Corps Commander, Soji Ganzallo noted that he was indeed very happy that the security outfit rewarded excellence to officers of the corps who have performed excellently well in the out gone year 2020.
Commander Soji Ganzallo said, “I am indeed very happy that we are rewarding excellence to those who have performed so well in year 2020 towards the course of So-Safe Corps in Ogun State.
“All that we have achieved in the year 2020, this is the time for us to actually show our appreciation to some of our officers who have done well”.
“This is to show to them that to whom much is given, much is also expected, so they should put in their best in the year 2021 to raise the standard of So-Safe Corps”.
Commander Ganzallo equally urged officers of the corps to double their efforts to face the challenges of crimes and criminalities in the society.
On his part, the Ogun State Commander of Amotekun Corps, CP David Akinremi RTD commended the initiative to reward excellence.
He said, this initiative is not to discourage anyone but to encourage officers of the corps to do more”.
“On regular basis, I receive your performance reports, and I must attest to the fact that you are all doing well, even without all these logistics that should be available to you. You are still doing all in your capacity to ensure that Ogun State is safe from all criminal activities”.
While reiterating the Ogun State government’s drive to maintain an Ogun State that is safe and secured for both human and business activities, the Special Adviser to Governor on Security Matters, AIG Subair Olushola RTD noted that the government will continue to do its best for the security outfit.
He said, just recently the Ogun State government provided So-Safe Corps with a patrol van as well as motorcycle to make security logistics more easier for officers of the corps”.
“Ogun State government will continue to strive to make sure that So-Safe Corps gets all the facilities needed to aid it’s operations, he concluded.
The recipients of the So-Safe Corps award of recognitions include; CSC Waheed Abdulahi (Best Officer in Egba Zonal Command), CSC Popoola AbduLateef (Best Officer in Ijebu Zonal Command), CSC Sadiku Joseph (Best Officer in Yewa Zonal Command), SC Francis Awoyemi (Best Officer in Remo Zonal Command), SC Adebayo Adeyeri (Best Officer in Owode Egba), CSC Idris Odukunle (Best Officer in Agbara Area Command), CSC Olaide Tanimowo (Best Officer in Ogere Area Command), SC Olaiya Akeem Osu (Isheri – Ajuwon Area Command), SC Olaore Adeyemi Oluwasegun (Ilaro Area Command), SC Abayomi Ikushigbagbe (Ifo Area Command) and SC Adewusi Oluseye (Odeda Area Command).
Others are; ASC Nureni Jolaoso (Most Punctal Officer), Adesola Idowu (Best Junior Officer), ACC Adebiyi Ganiyu Idowu (Best Senior Officer), ACC Yomi Odukoya (Best Management Officer) ASC Adekanye Bisola (Best Intermediate Officer), ASC Obashola Junaid (State Commander’s Award), and SC Ibrahim Olumide Mutiu (Best Adminstrative Officer)
Other important dignitaries who graced the event include; SA on Security, Mr. Biyi Odubote, Director of Local Government Affairs, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. S.O.
