Ogun NUJ Announces The Passing of Comrade Anuoluwapo Adekoya

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ogun State Council, has announced the passing away of Comrade Anuoluwapo Adekoya, a member Ogun State Information Chapel of the council.

The Council Chairman, Comrade Wale Olarenwaju also condole with the Chairman and members of the Ogun state Information Chapel on the passing of one of its brightest star.

In a statement released by the Secretary of the council, Comrade Bunmi Adigun revealed that late Adekoya departed in the mid hours of Thursday, 28th December, 2023 at the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, after a brief illness.

The statement also added that the Chairman, Council in his condolence message to Information Chapel and Ogun Journalists at large prayed for strength and fortitude for the family she left behind to bear the irreplaceable loss.

Olanrewaju added that it has pleased the Lord to call her home to take a deserved rest while praying that God’s protection would be evidenced on all even beyond year 2024.

The Ogun Information Chapel Chairman, Comrade Femi Osipitan after due consultation with the deceased family stated that Adekoya will be buried on Friday, 29th December, 2023 at her Olokuta, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta residence by 11am.
