The leadership of the National Association of Nigeria Students in Ogun state has commended  and appreciated Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his timely intervention towards ending the lingering crisis rocking the state educational sector most especially  in the  Tai Solarin College of Education (TACSE), Omu Ijebu.

This was contained in a statement made available to Tropic Reporters by Comrade Bamgbose Tomiwa, Chairman, NANS, Ogun JCC. He stated that the reoccuring crisis has continued been scuttled the activities of the institution following the demand of the staff of the institution over unpaid salaries by previous government of Senator Ibikunle Amosun.

He stressed further that the student body did not also forget the recent restoration of peace and academic activities in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) by the Governor, which will forever be appreciated.

Consequently, he urged the current government to swift into action so as to bring a lasting solution to the dwindling TESCE crisis, just as it was recently done in MAPOLY, we also urge the members of the resolution committee, which was constituted to look into TACSE crisis, to be quick and diligent in addressing the issues, and profer a long term recommendation that will restore peace and the lost glory of the institution.

He equally  congratulated all the staff and students of the institution (Tascites) for their cooperation, patience and endurance in this challenging period, as we warmup to sing victory Songs in no long time.
