Cameroon captain Vincent Aboubakar is convinced Egypt captain Mohamed Salah is not as good as France’s Kylian Mbappe.

The former Porto striker said this in an interview ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations semifinal clash between the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Pharaohs of Egypt later today.

Vincent Aboubakar in the same interview said Mohamed Salah who is currently one of the top four players in the world doesn’t even impress him.

“He doesn’t impress me much,” says Aboubakar in an interview with Then24.

“I say it clearly because I’m an honest person and I have my way of seeing things.

“If he impressed me, I would say so. But he doesn’t impress me much.

He’s a good player, he scores a lot but he doesn’t produce a lot of stuff in the game.

“Of course, he’s doing good stuff in the Premier League because he’s been in a team that’s been there for years. He’s a good player but not at the level of some like (Kylian) Mbappe.”

Today, at the Stade Olembe 8 pm Nigerian time, all eyes will be on both players as they captain their teams in a semifinal game for a final ticket.

Vincent Aboubakar who is the tournament top scorer with 6 goals will have the support of the home crowd and Mo Salah the Egyptian King will also not be short of support.
