Man, 19, Arrested For Stealing Mobile Phones In Ogun

The Ogun State-owned Security Outfit codenamed So-Safe Corps has arrested a 19 year old teenager, identified as Abiodun Elegbede for burgling jnto a church and two other houses at Ago Araromi Community, Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government area of Ogun State.

The suspect was arrested following a distress call received by the Corps for prompt intervention.

So-Safe in a press release issued from the office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of its Director of Information and Public Relations, Assistant Commander, Moruf Yusuf said that the Corps at about 0200hrs on Thursday, 26th January, 2023 received a distress call requesting for prompt intervention of the Corps on the strange face who burgled into an apartment and later identified to be Mr Elegbede Abiodun, a resident of Ajegunle, Ipobe in Ipokia Local Government Area.

“Ganzallo said that the suspect who was alleged of burglary at Ago Araromi Community, Ilaro,Yewa South Local Government Area was arrested after he burgled a Church and two different houses by the Ilaro Divisional Patrol Team led by the Divisional Officer SC Ojenride Wasiu”.

“Ganzallo noted that the items found on the suspect are ;4 itel phones. And the suspect together with the exhibit had been transfered to the Nigeria Police, Ilaro Divisional Headquarter for further investigation and likely prosecution”. he said.
