The Corps Marshall and Chief Executive Officer, Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Authority, KASTLEA, Major Garba Yahaya( rtd), has called for the inclusion of anti- corruption studies, in schools’ curricula, from primary level to university level, as a veritable means of minimising the effects of corruption in Nigeria.

He made this appeal on Thursday, September 17, 2020 in Kaduna while receiving the Kaduna zonal head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission( EFCC), Sanusi Abdullahi, who paid him a Courtesy Visit.

According to Yahaya, the inclusion of anti- graft studies in schools’ curricula, would broaden the knowledge base of students about the evils of corruption and make them build intellectual resistance against them. Yahaya commended the EFCC for its “good works” and promised that KASTLEA will do its best, to take ownership of the anti-corruption fight and urged all Nigerians to join hands in the fight, “because it is a fight for all”.

Earlier, Abdullahi expressed appreciation on how KASTLEA has been helpful and committed to the existing relationship between the two agencies, especially in terms of offering logistics during EFCC’s roadwalk and sporting events.

He called for more synergy and collaboration, saying KASTLEA is one of the stakeholders in the fight against corruption, especially in Kaduna State.
