The Federation of Iloko Ijesa Students Union (FIISU),Iloko Ijesa, Osun State has rolled out a list of heart warming activities to end the outgoing year 2019.

This was made known in a statement released by the Public Relation Officer of the students body, Comrade Segun Ilesanmi and obtained by Tropic Reporters Correspondent on Monday 9th December, 2019 in Osun State.

Comrade Ilesanmi stated that Ajagbusi Ekun Championship cup opening match comes up on 15th December 2019 at Olashore international stadium and operation keep Iloko Clean (General sanitation and cleaning of the community) would hold on 21st December 2019 at 4pm prompt.

He stressed further that Ajagbusi Ekun Championship cup Final match ceremony is slated to hold on Wednesday 1st January 2020 from 3:15pm prompt at the Olashore International Stadium, Iloko Ijesa, while FIISU Dinner Night comes up in the evening of 1st January 2020 at Iloko Ijesa Town Hall.

On his part, the Regent and Owarisa of Iloko Ijesa, High Chief Olusola Ogunsanya outlined other activities lined up for the end of the year which includes; Asa Day slated for 21st December, 2019 from 12pm to feature cultural displays, talent hunts, dressing displays, hair, food displays, drama sketches etc.

It is expected to also featured annual games competition like Ayo, Arin, table tennis from Friday 13th to 20th December, 2019.

The activities would also thrilled Children with the 3rd Father Christmas Funfairs from Gold Fm 95.5 as sposored by the Saloro – Owaloko Elect, Prince Akeem Ogungbangbe for 200 children on 20th December, 2019 at Iloko Ijesa Civic Centre at 10am for ages 2 to 11years only.

Idijo Obalogun Festival would hold on 10th December, 2019 from 4am 4am Ibere/apara jija. Closes on 18th 4pm with esi.

Pls note that 10th to 13th December, 2019 is for fasting and prayers. No public shows/parties/crusades etc.

The December palace monthly prayers which is the last for the year would hold on Friday 27th December, 2019 from 4.30am.

He thereafter urged all sons and daughters of Iloko Ijesa both at home and in diaspora to be in attendance throughout the event processes as it promises to be an epoch making event to talk about all year round.

He concluded by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a very happy new year 2020 in advance.
