ILOKO IJESA METHODIST CHURCH CELEBRATES 3RD CHOIR ANNIVERSARY

It was a joyous atmosphere on Sunday, as the Choir of Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Ijesa North, Iloko-Ijesa, celebrated its 3rd anniversary.

The programme tagged ‘Sing unto the Lord a new song’ kicked off 10am at the church premises with the Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Health, Pharm. (Dr) Olasiji Olamiju as the Chairman of the day.

When giving his charge to the choir and the Christian community, Olamiju advised them to always relate together in love and they should allow nothing to separate them.

“Always sing praises to God because praises lifts the heart of God”, Olamiju said.

Also in attendance are, Risa of Iloko, High Chief J.O. Ogunsanya, Dr Wale Bolorunduro (who was honoured with an award of excellence), Honourable Desmond Babatunde Ojo (Guest of honour) and others.
