The Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reform Committee has proposed changing the distribution process of the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) to a daily basis.
The committee aims to shift the disbursement frequency for the three tiers of government from monthly to daily.
This was announced by Taiwo Oyedele, Chairman of the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reform Committee, during a workshop for journalists and analysts in Abuja on Monday.
He stated, “We believe the system can be configured to credit the accounts of local, state, and federal governments daily.”
