President Bola Tinubu has approved an indefinite leave of absence for Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, following a formal request citing personal and health reasons.
In a statement from the Presidency, the President acknowledged and accepted Ngelale’s decision with deep understanding and compassion. He expressed his heartfelt prayers for Ngelale and his family, hoping for a swift recovery and restoration to full health.
“The President accepts his reasons for the leave, fully understands them, and sympathizes with the circumstances that have led to this seemingly difficult decision,” the statement read.
The President also commended Ngelale for his unwavering dedication to national service, especially in advancing critical issues such as national discourse and climate action. President Tinubu recognized Ngelale’s tireless contributions during his time in office and expressed gratitude for his leadership in key government initiatives.
“His remarkable efforts have left a lasting impact, and we are grateful for his contributions,” the statement added.
