The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has won the presidential election in Plateau State.
According to the state collation officer, Anande Richard, a professor, Abubakar polled 548,665 to defeat Muhammadu Buhari who scored 468,555 in the 17 LGAs of the state.
The difference between the two candidates is 80,110 votes.
Buhari has never won in Plateau.
