An aspirant who vied for the post of House of Representative, Abeokuta South Federal Constituency in the last general election, under the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon. Kayode Ishola Akiode has felicitated with Muslim brothers and sisters over the Eid-el Kabir, advising them to always bear in mind the great sacrifice of giving by God which they should reciprocate.
Hon Akiode In a statement issued by his media consultant, Osoba Olajide which was made available to newsmen in Abeokuta this Saturday advised Nigerians to use the opportunity of EId-el-Kabir to pray for the country.
According to him, for Muslim brothers and sisters across the globe the importance of the Eid-el Kabir cannot be over undermined , as it signifies sacrifice and unquestioned obedience to the command of Allah (SWT) by Prophet Ibrahim( AS).
”I want to urge the muslim brothers and sisters to celebrate this Eid-el Kabir with love, care, mutual respect and understanding with one another by which we could build a better society for ourselves and future generations”
He enjoined all Muslims to live in peace and unity, saying that it was only when there is unity and peace among them that the country can prosper.
The former aspirant advised them to devote their time to pray and appreciate God for sparing their lives to witness this year Sallah celebration.
