Democratic Forum (DF), a non-partisan group has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls over the celebration of Eld-el-kabir 2022.
The message to the Muslim faithfuls is contained in a statement signed by its Coordinator, Okunowo Olamide Afolasade through the office of the Director of Media, Adejola Adeyemi Crown in the early hour of today.
She urged Muslim faithfuls to be tolerant of one another irrespective of the difference in colour, tribe, religious or political affiliations.
She said, “On behalf of the Conveners of Democratic Forum, Omo’ba Sodrudeen Ayodeji and Hon. Goke Kuye as well as other Executive Members, I want to join the rest of the world in celebrating with our Muslims brothers and sisters over the celebration of Eld-el-kabir 2022”.
“I am using this opportunity to urge Muslim faithfuls to be tolerant of one another irrespective of the difference in their colour, tribe, religious or political affiliations”.
“On this holy and joyful occasion, may the blessings of Almighty Allah come down and rest upon you and upon those whom you love and treasure. And may you enjoy a veritably happy Eid this time and in the times to come”.
