Democratic Forum Distributes Food Items, Cash To Muslims In Ogun
Omo’ba Sodrudeen Ayodeji and Hon. Goke Kuye, the Conveners of Democratic Forum, a non-partisan group have distributed food items worth million of naira to Muslim faithfuls across Abeokuta South Local Government, Ogun State to celebrate Eld-el-kabir.
According to a statement by Democratic Forum Director of Media, Adejola Adeyemi Crown stated that the gesture was part of the forum’s Conveners to ensure that leaders, executives, members and less privileged, enjoyed the sallah celebration.
Before distributing the Sallah gifts such as bags of rice, semo, provisions, hampers and cash to the beneficiaries, the duo of Omo’ba Sodrudeen Ayodeji and Hon. Goke Kuye admonished Muslim faithfuls to embrace the spirit of togetherness and generosity before, during and after Eld-el-kabir celebration.
The Conveners said that the food items and cash by the forum will serve as a step towards promoting mutual affections, appreciate it’s executives and members as well as to assist the needy during the Sallah celebrations.
The Conveners however wish all Muslim faithfuls happy Eld-el-kabir celebration and called for the spirits of community, togetherness, love, compassionate generosity and good tidings to the celebrants.
