Eid-el-Fitri: So – Safe Corps Tighten Security Across Ogun State

The Commander of Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, Commander Soji Ganzallo has put the mind of the good people of Ogun State at rest during the Eid-el-Fitri Celebrations.

Commander Soji Ganzallo said this in a press release made available to Tropic Reporters NG through ADC Moruf Yusuf, Director of Information and Public Relations (So-Safe Corps) made it known that all measures were in place to provide the good people of the state a hitch-free free celebrations.

Comrade Soji Ganzallo said, “Officers of So-Safe Corps will commence Special Operations tagged” Security and Safety “throughout the state from 2nd to 8th June, 2019 as a result of people coming into the state for merriment and sightseeing during this period of festive mood on all the corridors of Ogun State”

He added that, “it is therefore expected that all operatives under the Zonal Offices must participate, be civil and humble themselves.

The So – safe Corps were also urged to exhibit high level of operational professionalism during the festive patrol period.

He added that part of So – safe Eid-el-Fitri patrol operations was to help ensure safety of lives and properties, to promptly attend to any limits of Public disturbance, prevent hoodlums from strategic areas that had been known and ensure strict compliance of law and order in the community.

So – safe Corps Director of Information and Public Relations also added in his release that So – safe Corps will collaborate with other sister security agencies as well as government tiers the towards ensuring safety of lives and properties.

“We are fully prepared to deal with hoodlums, political thugs, and other disgruntled elements that may cause panic among the public during this period and we will collaborate with sister security agencies and stakeholders to ensure peaceful hitch-free celebration”.

All Commanders from all LG /LCDA were also enjoined to ensure adequate supervision of their respective Command before, during and after the festive period for effective, efficient and smooth operations.

Members of the public were therefore urged to Cooperate with the conduct of the exercise so as to ensure the security of lives and properties during this period of festive period on all corridors of Ogun State.
