Democratic Forum Empowers Petty Trader In Ogun

As part of efforts to cushion the effects of the current economic hardship in the country, a group, Democratic Forum, has empowered a petty trader with some products to boost her business in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The product disbursement was on Monday handed over to the beneficiary (name withhold) to improve her business.

While presenting the products, representative of Democratic Forum said the group have decided to empower the beneficiary with packs of bottled water, soft drinks and bags of pure water to unpscale her business which was as part of its core mandate to give back to the society.

The group said the kind gesture was intended to alleviate suffering as well as to boost the economic status of the less privileged.

“We believe that this will continue to encourage the beneficiary to continue with business for sustainability and self-reliance”, the group said.

The beneficiary in her response thanked the leadership of Democratic Forum for the succor, added that gesture will go a long way to improve her livelihood.
