ABEOKUTA: It was an epoch making event today 15th May, 2019 as one of Ogun State Ace broadcaster, Mr. Adeyinka Adegbite popularly known as “Omo Baba TISA” launched his book titled “40 BUSINESSES YOU CAN DO IN NIGERIA WITH LITTLE OR NO CASH” and the public presentation of BENCHMARK Business and Advertisement magazine.
The book author, Mr. Adeyinka Adegbite in his welcome address appreciated those in attendance for honoring him with their time and substance as well as their resources. He noted that he noticed a lot of gap in business community which if not well attended to could slow down or kill the burning spirit of Business owners in the country and most especially young entrepreneurs looking for which business they could venture into with little or no cash as many today see capital as one of the bricks blocking the progress and existence of business.
Mr. Adegbite who was a trained broadcast Journalist of the then Ogun State Polytechnic now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic stated that “most of the reasons most youths are jobless is that they can not think and think fast, they rely on government and ready – made jobs”
He stressed further that the book was written specifically and specially to address the issue of businesses people could do without cash or with little cash and how they could raise capital for any business that require little cash.
In his conclusion, he added that the general public should Watch out for the volume 2 of the book titled “Now That You Have Chosen A Business What Next? which according to him would serve as a follow up the the first edition titled” 40 BUSINESSES YOU CAN DO IN NIGERIA WITH LITTLE OR NO CASH”
The book reviewer, Mr. Femi Orunsola a lecturer of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic appreciated the author and commended him for using a simple and well structured language which was well – laid in a chronological order from chapter one to chapter twelve.
He said from the first chapter of the book it talked about how the mind could be prepared for the opportunities therein in the book and how this could help a business minded choose the desired business of their choice. He noted that the author also identified how capital could be sourced as young entrepreneurs and the knowledge needed to to get their type of business customers.
The book was thereafter officially launched by His Lordship, The Rt. Rev. Jeremiah Adetunji Okunlola, the Bishop of the African Church alongside the public presentation of BENCHMARK Business Magazine.
The event which took place at NUJ Secretariat, Iwe Iroyin, Abeokuta was graced by dignitaries from all works of life which include Chief Olumide Falola of Sweet Estate, Alhaja S. A Oladunjoye, Alhaja Olatoye, Engr Jeremiah Osadipe, Prophet J. O. K. Ismail, Mr. Samson Akindele, of Fresh 107.9 Fm, Ace Broadcaster, MC Murphy, Ogun State NUJ Chairman, Comrade Soji AMOSU who also represented the Chairman of the occasion Comr Yemi Sonde, Chairman of Ogun State Chapter of Federation of Independent and Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), Mr. Olufemi Omilani, Foremost Media Practitioner and Founder of Penpushing Media, Mr. Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji, Mr. Segun Babarinde, Adesola Adetoyese (Baakinni), Ayinla Egba and a host of other distinguished guests were in attendance.
