The national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has ratified the suspension of a former governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, by the Imo chapter of the party.
According to a letter addressed to Okorocha, dated July 12, 2021 jointly signed by the chairman of the interim national caretaker committee of the party and Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni, and secretary, Senator John Akpanudoehede, the party leadership said the action became necessary given the former governor’s anti-party activities.
