Bishop Jeremiah Tunji Okunlola of The African Church Solution Camp has urged Nigerians to be advocates of humanity considering the millions of people affected by the outbreak of Covid-19 which has grounded lots of economic activities as well as current inflation that has increased in no small amount the cost of goods and commodities thereby causing hunger and unemployment among the people.

Bishop Okunlola gave this admonition today during the thanksgiving service of Sons and Daughters of Grace to commemorate the birthday anniversary of May celebrants at the church premises, located at Sam Ewang way, Leme in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Bishop Okunlola said contributing liberally to the needs of the poor is the cardinal duty of everyone, and not just the duty of the Christians.

He said, “by giving to the needy out of what we have, we cast our lot with them, entering into a kind of mutual bond and solidarity in terms of both want and wealth”.

He reiterated that everyone in regardless of Faith should give generously to the needy without so much grudging heart as the Lord will bless them in everything they put their hand to.

He noted further that whosever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.

He thereafter encouraged Nigerians to be their brother’s keeper most especially as the Nation is currently facing lots of challenges ranging from insecurity, kidnapping, banditry, inflation, unemployment and a host of others.
