The Chairman of Ifedara-Opeji Area CDC, Alhaji (Asiwaju) Dapo Wahab has again been awarded for his numerous contributions to community development in Ogun State.
Asiwaju Dapo Wahab, who is also the President of Asiwaju Dapo Wahab Foundation, a non-governmental organization on Saturday bagged the award for his Outstanding Performance.
While presenting the award, the Chairman of Osuolale CDA, Comrade (Evangelist) James Adejola lauded the purposeful leadership, dedication, selfless achievements and the support of Asiwaju Dapo Wahab to communities, especially in Odeda Local Government area of Ogun State.
In his remark, the award recipient, Asiwaju Dapo Wahab spoke about the role of youth in community development.
He also called on parents to do their parts in the proper training of their children, he maintained that most youths now engage themselves in illicit drugs which could hinder their future.
He however charged them to shun social vices and abuse of drugs which could affect community development.
He thereafter thanked the leadership of Osuolale CDA for recognizing his humanitarian services to Community Development.
“My appreciation goes to the entire members of OSUOLALE CDA under the leadership of Comrade Evangelist James Adejola for the Award of Outstanding Performance bestowed on me in recognition of my purposely leadership, dedication, selfless achievements and support to the community”. he said.
