COVID-19: MAPOLY SUSPENDS ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES

Following the government’s directive on temporary closure of all institutions in the state to contain the global spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, hereby announces the suspension of all academic activities.

This was disclosed at the extended management meeting held on Friday, 20th March, 2020 which was premised on the memo from the Ogun State Bureau of Tertiary Institutions in respect of the above directive.

The closure takes effect from today Friday, 20th March, 2020, in line with official ban of high density gatherings.

Meanwhile, the Ag. Rector, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, has affirmed that management is fortifying the institution against the virus.

He further advised members of staff, parents and students to adhere to all prescribed preventive measures while the institution remains closed indefinitely.

Dr. Odedeji has also encouraged the Polytechnic community to pray for swift disappearance of the pandemic.
