OGUN ASSEMBLY LAWMAKERS, WORKERS, OTHERS CELEBRATE SPEAKER AT 56

As the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo marks his 56th birthday, his colleague lawmakers represented by Hon. Kemi Oduwole and members of staff of the State House of Assembly led by the Ag Clerk, Deji Adeyemo as well as various groups including Ogun Next Level, State Chapter of National Youth Council have extolled the virtues of the Speaker describing him as a disciplined but humane leader, whose leadership qualities have led to remarkable successes in the governance of the State.

In their separate presentations in honour of the Speaker shortly after an interdenominational prayers held by the Management of the Assembly at the Assembly Complex Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, they described him as a leader par excellence, whose leadership of the ninth Legislature had in partnership with the executive arm of government led to the delivery of democratic dividends to the teeming populace in the State within a short time. 

Also, the Next Level Team, led by its Coordinator, Prince Abiola Ogundeko and the Chairman, of the State chapter of the National Youth Council, Adeleke Adebajo, appreciated God for spearing the Speaker’s life, stating that the celebrant remained one of the credible political office holders, who often showcased high level of commitment, discipline and excellence in the discharge of duties beyond public office.

Responding, Oluomo, expressed gratitude to his colleagues, members of staff and other well wishers for their commitment, prayers, support and resilence in the discharge of their duties, assuring that the ninth legislature under his leadership remained committed to the passage of more enabling legislations to further reposition all sectors of the State’s economy.

The Speaker, who later commissioned the Staff Mini Mart/bulk purchase store in fulfillment of his promise to the Assembly workers, reiterated his resolve to continually promote mutual interdependence with other arms of government to further advance the socio-economic of the State.
