Osita Chidoka, the former Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development during the administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today program, Chidoka disclosed that he had formally submitted his resignation letter to his ward in Anambra. He explained that his decision to step down from the party marks the beginning of a period where he plans to temporarily distance himself from politics.
Chidoka also shared his focus for the coming period, revealing his intention to dedicate his efforts towards the reform of Nigeria’s political system, with an emphasis on promoting evidence-based governance. “Effective today, I’m no longer a member of the Peoples Democratic Party,” he concluded.
