…dissolves Executive Council
The Iloko Model College Old Students’ Association (IMCOSA), has approved the appointment of caretaker committee to oversee its affairs for a period of six months.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Stakeholders’ Publicity Secretary, Adejola Adeyemi Crown, after an extraordinary Stakeholders meeting of the association held virtually on Saturday September 2nd, 2023.
The stakeholder also approved the dissolution of the association’s Executive Council (EXCOS) under the leadership of Mr. Seyi Folorunso, following tenure expiration.
According to the statement, during the six- months existence of the committee, an election will be conducted to usher in new officers of the association.
It listed members of the caretaker committee as:
1. Dr. Timilehin Ogungbangbe – (Interim President)
2. Itunnu Oduntan – (Interim Secretary)
4. Femi Adaramaja – (Publicity Secretary)
Others are:
5. Femi Ajayi – (Ex-Officio 1)
6. Seyi Folorunso – (Ex-Officio 2)
7. Adejola Adeyemi Crown (Ex-Officio 3)
8. Kehinde Owolabi – (Ex-Officio 4)
The Alumni Association Stakeholder also charged the newly constituted committee to uphold the values of the association.
It also called on them to prioritize steady and progressive growth of the association, promote welfare and well-being of members and build a sustainable and stable structure for the organization.
The appointment of the caretaker committee takes immediate effect.
