Asiwaju Dapo Wahab Calls On School Proprietors To Prioritize Qualitative Education

An Alumnus of Federal University of Agriculture (FUNAAB), Abeokuta and Community Chief, Asiwaju Dapo Wahab, has called on school proprietors to prioritize qualitative and quantitative education capable of building great talents, moral and national development.

Wahab, President of Asiwaju Dapo Wahab Foundation, a non – governmental organization, made this appeal over the weekend, while speaking at the official launching of Brighten Model School in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Wahab who attributed the future of education to private schools said the sector has contributed immensely to the development of national education, which is a critical sector, stressed the need for private schools to be more viable by producing more products with good results.

While also appealing to parents to play a pivotal role towards ensuring standardization of schools, urged them to pay their children’s school fees to allow the school give the best of education to their children at all times.

He said, As at today in Nigeria and all over the world, we cannot overemphasized the role and responsibilities of private schools in national education which is a critical sector in nation building”.

“Let me also emphasized the importance of education as it teaches values, also helps in the development of society in general”.

“I want to use this opportunity to congratulate Mr and Mrs Aregbe on the launching of their school (Brighten Model School) today and I urged you to put their best on the job of modelling the lives of the pupils”.

“It is my prayer that God Almighty would reward you accordingly”.

“As schools are set to reopen for new academic term on Tuesday, 2nd May, 2023, let me appeal to the parents to prioritize the payment of their children’s school fees to enable the schools progress in its quest to give the best of qualitative and quantitative education to their children”, he said.

Meanwhile, among the members of Asiwaju Dapo Wahab foundation that graced the occasion were: Mrs Elizabeth Eweje (Coordinator ), Hadjia Lawal, Hadjia Bakre, Master Rayhan Dapo- Wahab and Mr Basit.
