Lotus Bank: Oluwo Facilitates, Launches Iwo Branch, Calls For Patronage

The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, today launched a branch of Lotus Bank in his hometown,Iwo, Osun State.

Oba Akanbi said lotus is a no interest bank which is a relief for the masses with business ideas.

He described Iwo as a Muslim dominated city craving for no interest banking. He stated the coming of lotus will satisfy their aspiration, convincingly.

He admonished corporate organizations, business men and women, religious groups, schools, artisans etc to encourage the bank through patronage.

He appreciated the CEO of the bank, Alhaji Fola Adeola for trusting Iwo and her people for situating the bank in Iwo, praying to God to continuously strengthen him to do more for humanity.

“A few years ago, I met the Chief Executive Officer of Lotus Bank, Alhaji Fola Adeola in an event. I didn’t even know him. He was speaking and referenced my name. After his speech, I approached him. He introduced himself as the CEO of Lotus Bank”

“We exchanged contacts and since then, I’ve been talking to him to have a branch of Lotus in Iwo. I told the unique place of Iwo in Islam. He was encouraged. The outcome of our interaction gave birth to Lotus Branch,Iwo, we are opening today”

“I know my people and they know me. I talk to them frequently to know what they want. To the good people of Iwo, I’ve brought what you sought from me. Encourage the bank to flourish and grow better”

The Executive Director of Lotus Bank, Alhaji Isiaq Ajani Lawal, commended Iwo for their hospitality, saying the no interest regime of lotus remains intact.

Alhaji Lawal disclosed lotus was launched in 2021 with about 40 branches as of today. “Customers have the advantage of operating Zero naira account opening.
