Reading time: 1 Minute

The Government of Ekiti State wishes to sound a note of caution to members of the public, especially publishers of online newspapers, bloggers and publishing companies against indiscriminate and unauthorized use of the state’s official logo.

Similarly, the state government dissociates itself from and condemns recent use of the state logo by some online media outfits to illustrate defamatory news reports, thereby making such reports appear as official position of government.

Members of the public, particularly online publishers should kindly note that the Ekiti State logo remains the property of the state government and is backed by law.

For the purpose of clarification, the Ekiti State logo can only be used by authorized officials and on official documents.
