…Oyetola receives letter conveying UniIlesa recognition
At a historic ceremony today in Abuja , University of Ilesa , Ilesa was granted official recognition as the 60th State University and 220th University in Nigeria.
The letter conveying the recognition was personally received from the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof Abubakar Rasheed by His Excellency, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola
Present at the occasion were His Exdellency Baba Bisi Akande, Emeritus Prof Olu Aina, Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye. Dr Charles Akinola, Hon Bamisaiye Oladoyin, Hon Jamiu Oluwuni Babarunde, Mallam Isyaku Sani, my humble self, Prof Isaac Adewole, and the principal officers of the NUC. A letter to that effect has been communicated to JAMB, NYSC and TETfund.
