Nasarawa Tribunal sacks Gov. Sule, declares PDP’s Ombugadu winner

The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal on Monday, October 2, nullified the election of Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state.

The three-man panel led by Justice Ezekiel Ajayi, while delivering the judgment via zoom, said Emmanuel Ombudagu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is the lawfully elected governor of the State.

Recall that Sule polled a total of 347,209 votes to defeat his closest opponent, Ombugadu, who secured 283,016 votes.
