Police Arrest Fake Soldier For Armed Robbery

A 39-year-old fake army captain identified as Andy Teddy Edwards has been arrested by detectives of the Lagos State Police Command.

According to police, the suspect pretends to be a modeling agent and invites ladies for an audition, then robs them at gunpoint of their cars and possessions.

Lagos police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed the arrest on Sunday via Twitter

According to him, the fake soldier was arrested after an investigation was initiated when a victim reported the theft of her Lexus RX330 SUV.
