The EFCC promptly clarified the health status of its chairman Chairman of Abdulrasheed Bawa, who slumped at an event in Aso Rock, Abuja on Thursday.
Spokesman Wilson Uwujaren emphatically said: ‘Bawa is hale and hearty’
“This clarification became necessary following an incident today September 16, 2021 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he was giving a goodwill message to the National Identity Day celebration, felt unwell and had to return to his seat.
“He has since received medical attention and is due back at his desk”, Uwujaren said.
Sources said the EFCC chairman may be suffering from exhaustion.
“He just returned from a trip to UK and was again at the Aso Rock event”, said the source.
