Osun FIBAN Mourns The Death Of SUNDAY ALAKINDE, Commiserates with Family, Uniq FM

The leadership of the Osun State Chapter of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), under the leadership of Otunba Adekunle Abolade Dodoede have expressed saddenss over the death of its National Organizing Secretary, Apostle Sunday Alakinde who died in the early hours of Monday 22nd March, 2021.

According to a condolence statement signed by the state Publicity Secretary of the association, Mukhtar Ajelogbon, the entire Osun FIBAN expressed shock over the news of Alakinde’s demise, while commiserating with the entire family of the deceased and the management of Uniq 103.1FM, Ilesa, the statement noted that the vacuum cannot be replaced.

Alakinde died in a motor accident along Ilesa express way around 3 O’clock in the Morning while coming along Ijebujesa express way to resume duty at Uniq FM.

He was a devoted Christian and committed media practitioner who contributed his quota in his lifetime, while he will be remembered for his accomplishments in various aspect of life.

Until his death, Alakinde work in the News and Current affairs Department of Uniq FM, and former Organizing Secretary of the Osun State FIBAN before rising to the national office. Osun FIBAN prayed that God will ease the tension of Alakinde’s grave and grant him eternal rest. Amen!
