Kogi Joins Coronavirus States, Records 2 Index Cases

The Kogi State has finally joined other states in Nigeria battling with the novel coronavirus pandemic as Nigeria Center For Decease Control (NCDC) decleared two index cases on Wednesday night.

It would be recalled that Kogi State has maintained a state free of Covid-19 since its outbreak in Nigeria.

Tropic Reporters had earlier reported that Governor Yaya Bello gave the Directives of 14days isolation at the quarantine center for NCDC officials led by Dr. Andrew Noah before they could commence testing residents for Covid-19 in the state.

Two weeks after the clash between Kogi State Government and Federal Government sent NCDC Officials to ascertain the true status of Kogi State Covid-19 free, NCDC however declared two index cases among the 389 new cases recorded in Nigeria.
