…say ‘he’s delivering on his mandate’
Residents of the State of Osun on Friday commended the Administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for running an all inclusive, participatory and people-oriented government.
The residents also expressed satisfaction on the policies and programmes of the administration which they described as people-friendly.
The participants said these at the special anniversary programme organised to commemorate the 2nd year anniversary of the Governor in office.
Speaking at the occasion which was held at Aurora Event Centre, Osogbo, the former Deputy Governor, Senator Iyiola Omisore, attributed the achievements of the Oyetola’s administration to a reflection of the Governor’s pedigree, competence and experience in both public and private sectors.
He commended the Governor for prioritising the welfare and wellbeing of the people of the State, just as he assured him and his government of the stakeholders’ support.
Omisore urged the people to continue to cooperate with the State government, noting that the Governor meant well for them.
He acknowledged the achievements made within the two years of the Administration, which he described as worthwhile and magnificent.
Omisore who noted that the governor has been treading the right path to develop the State and set it to the path of greatness, said “having known Oyetola’s pedigree, I knew he would do well”.
In his response, Governor Oyetola expressed gratitude to the people of the State for being the pillars of support for his Administration.
He said the administration was bent on serving the citizens with a clear conscience and unalloyed devotion to the common good.
