Yuletide: So-Safe deploys personnel to Ogun Communities

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps codenamed So-Safe Corps has deployed not less than a thousand of his foot soldiers and intelligence officers to tighten the security and to ensure safety of lives and property of the law abiding citizens of the state are guaranteed.

This was contained in a press statement issued from the office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information and Public relation of the Corps, ACC Moruf Yusuf.

The statement said that the Zonal Commanders of the Corps across the state have been put on their toes to deploy their foot soldiers to man strategic places in our various communities in the state and its envrions before, during and beyond the yuletide season.

Ganzallo noted that of recent, the OGUN-OYO technical working committee members met and reviewed the strategies put in place to address criminal attacks on travellers on the highway, the outcome of which shall be felt by the people in the two states and the motorists that ply the Inter-State highway and the forests will not be places of hibernation for criminals.

Ganzallo said that the agency will not rest on its oars and will continue to collaborate with the police to flush criminals out of the state.

Ganzallo thereby advised the motorists and travellers not to travel under the cover of the night and to call 615, 09069392064 08035479930 in case of any emergency on the Ogun/Oyo highways and the individual communities.

Ganzallo further noted that landlords and landladies should cooperate with the Community Development Association Chairmen to ensure that individual houses are fortified before going for festive programmes.

Ganzallo also said that all citizens should endeavour to communicate the Corps when they notice anything that can stir the peace in the state stressing that the deployment of the foot soldiers commences 22nd. December, 2023 through 7th. January, 2024.

Ganzallo, thereafter, wishes all the good people of the state happy Christmas and prosperous new year in advance.
