World Radio Day: Solomon Enilolobo splashes gifts on school children

As the world marks Radio Day 2023, a candidate of the People’s Democratic Party for Abeokuta South State Constituency I in the coming elections to the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Olanrewaju Solomon Enilolobo (OSE) has announced mouth-watering gifts to students in Abeokuta South Local Government Area.

In a statement by the organisers, Tripod Media Company Limited, Honourable Enilolobo says he is passionate about creativity of the youths and the promotion of peace in the society.

Parents are implored to encourage their children between 9 and 15 years to participate in this contest sponsored by Hon. Solomon Enilolobo with gifts ranging from Oven, Blenders , Pressing Iron to Electric cookers.

To participate, eligible students are expected to record this in not more than 60 seconds: “How does the Radio help in promoting peace?” To be sent via WhatsApp to 07053356758.

The statement adds that only successful contestants would be contacted.

Meanwhile, Tripod Media Company organised a similar contest in 2016 wherr successful students enjoyed an all-expense-paid educational trip to Ghana.

United Nations declares February 13 as World Radio Day and year 2023 edition is the 12th.
